Croquet is just about the best game you can play on grass. It can be played by men and women of all ages and standards, and on an equal footing. At the simplest level the game can be picked up quickly and then, as skills develop, the possibilities expand. Croquet is played by about 30 countries and is one of the few sports at which the GB team is expected to win and regularly does so.
